Dr. Craig Holbrook opened Great Brook Animal Care in 2003. He earned his doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania. His areas of expertise are clinical diagnostics, comprehensive dentistry and soft tissue surgery. His belief is that education for himself, his clients and the community will provide the best choices for his patients and their families.

Dr. Melanie T. Bizier joined Dr Holbrook in 2006 after graduating from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. Trained in veterinary ultrasound, she brings this highly valuable diagnostic imaging to our practice. A graduate of Noble High School and Smith College before her veterinary education, she returned to Maine where together, she and Dr. Holbrook pursue their passion for animal care.
